Location:

Germany - D-83324 Ruhpolding / Fuchsau Waldstadion (sports stadium), 100 k east of Munich.

- simple lodging w. breakfast in farm house at race k 28.2, on foot 1.7k from start. 2-4 persons/room, common shower, 16€/night/person. Limited number available upon request

Course:

Main event: <100km: 100 km, 4400 m of climbs - Course record: 11:38, Time limit 18h
38% hiking trails; 55% forestry roads; 7% paved roads
100 miles: 160.8 km, 6750 m of climbs - Course record 24:44, time limit 32h - Here Participants have to run self supported or provide their own food and crew until the 100k course is reached. The organization only provides the course marking and help in coordinating runners crews.

Every participant will receive a detailled trail book

Check points:

At least 12 checkpoints, where you have to provide your bib number

Aid stations:

6 major aid stations: Water, energy drink, Coke, various carbs, fruit, salt.
Drink and limited supplies at check points, depending on number of volunteers
For reasons of fairness there should be no aid provided outside aid or check points by your own crew.
It is recommended to take at least a 0.5 l bottle, some electrolytes and energy bars with you.
In addition nourishment can be purchased on a number of "Alm" (farm huts) and restaurants on the course.

Drop bags:

At all aid stations plus Hochfelln summit in limited number and size.
Drop bags have to be marked with the km number of the aid station and your bib number

Pacer:

Pacers are not necessary on the 100 k course and are not permitted for reasons of fairness. Pacers on 100 mile prologue allowed.

Cut offs:

19:00 in Egg (80 km option until 21:00)

Marking:

Arrows on the ground (flour), Marking tape on trees, reflective markers from km 84
Tourism trail markers and signposts

Drop out / shortcut:

If you drop out you have to immediately notify the run organisation. You have no right to beeing transported back to the finish, even if we will try to provide this service, resources pending.
The run may officially be shortened at the following locations upon indicating this to the check point personnel: Eschelmoos (66 km) or Egg (80 km)

Disqualification / penalties:

At the discretion of the race management for unfair behavior, shortcutting, vehicle use, littering by runners ur crew etc.

Drop out / shortcut:

Minimum age: 18.
Course limit: 100 runners.

Entry fee:

40 € before 05/15/07,
50 € before 07/01/07,
60 € after 07/01/07.

The entry fee includes: Organisation costs, pasta dinner, aid stations, prices and finisher’s T-shirt and certificate. Any surplus will be used to indemnify the volunteers.
Cancellations before 07/01 will be refunded the entry fee minus any costs accrued. No refunds thereafter.
Late registrants on race morning may have to start delayed.

Participation in the run is at your own risk. Each participant has to sign a waiver

The organizer may reject entries without naming reasons, change the course or cancel the run for any grave reason. Then you will be refunded your entry fee minus any costs already accrued.
