Chiemgauer 100 - 2011

Wir planen den Chiemgauer 100 im Jahr 2011 am Wochenende des 30. Juli 2011 durchzuführen. Es sind keine Änderungen gegenüber 2010 geplant. Bis zur Eröffnung des Internet Auftrittes für 2011 sehen Sie sich daher bitte Programm, Beschreibungen etc. von 2010 an.

Anmeldungen werden ab dem 15.Januar über das Internet entgegengenommen

Sollte die max. Teilnehmerzahl vor dem 1.3. erreicht sein entscheidet das (gewichtete) Los und eine Warteliste wird eingerichtet werden.

Wie groß sind die Chancen in der Verlosung?
Dieses Jahr (2010) haben alle, die eine Anmeldung vor dem 1.3 eingereicht haben auch einen Startplatz erhalten. Es waren ca. 50 Personen auf der Warteliste, wegen überdurchschnittlich vieler kurzfristiger Absagen waren viele von der Warteliste aber nicht mehr darauf eingestellt, so kurzfristig anzutreten, so dass wir letzendlich keinem der Bewerber ein Startplatz verwehren mussten. Wie es 2011 aussehen wird, wissen auch wir nicht, aber bei rechtzeitiger Anmeldung dürften gute Chancen auf eine Teilnahme bestehen.

Warum die Teilnehmerbeschränkung?
Zum Einen ist dies eine Auflage der höheren Naturschutzbehörde, da der Lauf durch Naturschutzgebiet und Raufußhuhn-Habitat führt (EU-Flora-Fauna-Schutzgebiet), zum Anderen möchten wir KEINE Massenveranstaltung durchführen, sondern bei Bedarf auf jeden Läufer persönlich eingehen, und das ist schon bei den derzeitigen Teilnehmerzahlen kaum mehr machbar.

The date for the next Chiemgauer 100 is scheduled for the weekend of Juli 30^th 2011

Registration will open on January 15^th 2011. Should the applications exceed the participants limit before March 1^st there will be a weighted draw and a waiting list.

What are my chances in the lottery?
This year (2010) there were about 50 persons on the waiting list. Due to an unusual amount of short term cancellations many on the waiting list were not ready to participate on such a short term notice, so that in the end, we did not have to deny anybody to enter the race.

Why is there only a limited number of participants?
On the one hand, this is a requirement of the nature conservation agency of upper Bavaira, since the run crosses a nature preserve and a European protection zone for grouse, on the other hand we do NOT intend to host a mass event, but would like to care for each participant individually, if necessary. And this is already with the present numbers a tough challenge.
